IK Multimedia Uno Synth Pro X

IK Multimedia has brought another synth into this world, and what a synth it is! On the one hand, the Uno Synth Pro X is a somewhat smaller synth because of its three oscillators (read: a polyphony of three, because there are only three oscillators). On the other hand: the number of sound possibilities and their quality are through the roof. In use, it is typically one of those synths that you use for one thing in your production, a bass line, or a screaming lead, or something rough. Don't expect chords and typical bread 'n butter sounds, it's not the synth for that. For everything else: this is definitely a synth to consider, it's that versatile!

Features of the IK Multimedia Uno Synth PRO X
We were just talking about the three oscillators and not having to rely on chords. That's not quite true: this Uno is paraphonic, so with a single oscillator per note. So it's possible in itself, but it's really not relevant to see this Uno as a synth with which those chords are possible like that with larger synths. What do you get? Three oscillators with support for PWM, FM, sync and ring modulation. Three envelopes with loop and retrigger, about two LFOs, of course also a filter (LPF, HPF, 12 dB, 24 dB). And as icing on the cake: three slots for effects - you might actually call that whipped cream on top of the cherry. For some movement in Uno-land, you get an arpeggiator and a 64-step sequencer.
